DEVELOPING A PROSPECTUS AND TABLE OF CONTENTS
Whether your book is still just an idea or you have sample chapters to submit, the prospectus is an invaluable tool that allows us to properly consider your proposal. Consider the following when developing your prospectus.

THE WORK
Provide a brief description of the project, what motivated you to undertake it, and what will be distinctive or innovative about the work.

THE MARKET
List primary as well as secondary markets.

THE COMPETITION
List existing books in this field and discuss relative strengths and weaknesses. Supply title, author, publisher, date of publication, and number of pages, if possible. How will your book differ from or improve upon the competing texts?

STATUS AND DETAILS OF THE WORK
What is the status of the work? When will it be complete?
What do you estimate to be the size of the completed book? (ie page count)
Will the work contain any graphic elements? If so, of what nature and approximately how many?

TABLE OF CONTENTS
Include a detailed table of contents.

SAMPLE MATERIAL
If possible, send two or three chapters with your proposal.
